A substantial and well figured continental oak sideboard, dating from the 1890s. This piece is constructed from solid oak with a desirable bleached patina that highlights the natural grain and character of the timber. The top has a moulded edge above a two-door cabinet base, enclosing internal storage with 2 shelves. The doors are fitted with classic raised and fielded panels and retain their original metal escutcheons and hinges. The sideboard stands on a continuous plinth base, which adds to its age, displaying characterful signs of historic use and age-related wear.
