An elegant vintage brass adjustable reading lamp, featuring a tall slender stem with a weighted circular stepped base and decorative finial . The adjustable arm allows the height and position of the shade to be altered.The lamp is complemented by a raffia wrapped shade , which gives a soft , atmospheric glow when illuminated. The stem incorporates a period-stye adjustment mechanism and the original in-line switch and flex are present. A stylish and practical piece ,with some expected age-related wear, well suited to a traditional, country-house vintage interior . The lamp has been rewired and PAT tested.
